Peter A. Madpak is only the third artistic director to lead the Venice Chorale. Like his predecessors, he plans to set a high standard of vocal performance drawn from the finest of the vocal literature.
Mr. Madpak is extensively educated in musicianship, with a bachelor’s from Rowan University in New Jersey and a master’s in sacred music from Drew Theological Seminary. He is currently the organist and choirmaster at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Venice, as well as directing musical shows at Venice Theater. He describes himself as a recitalist on the organ, as well as an accompanist, conductor, and teacher.
Mr. Madpak oversees the activities of the entire Venice Chorale program — the Concert Choir, Chamber Chorus, Youth Chorus, and Youth String Ensemble.
