Youth Choir

The Youth Choir has been an important part of The Venice Chorale‘s education program since 2015. The choir is open to all 4th-8th graders in Venice and surrounding areas. Homeschoolers and youth whose schools do not provide a chorale experience are especially encouraged.

Each Monday evening from 5:30-6:30pm (September thru April), our students get together to sing, laugh, learn and foster a love of music. The singers perform in our three premier concerts at the Venice Performing Arts Center, together with the adult Concert Choir and High School Apprentices. There is also opportunity to participate in community outreach events, perform in smaller venues and collaborate with other local music organizations, including the Venice Concert Band and the Venice Symphony Youth Orchestra.

There are no formal auditions. Cost for the season is only $35 per student and includes required music and two (2) discounted parent concert tickets. Concert shirts are required.
